To celebrate the birthday of Hales W. I. in October, over twenty members and friends met at the Crown Inn, Market Drayton for an evening meal. Thank you to the staff at the Crown for the excellent service and good food. A band of happy people went home suitably refreshed.

Special Bell Ring in Norton in Hales

 

The village will be visited by a team of Bellringers from Maesvyn Ridware on Saturday November 12th. 
 

Under the leadership of their Tower Mistress Anne Ogden, they will be performing a "quarter peal" which will last for about 45 minutes. 
 

Because the next day is Remembrance Sunday, the bells will be half-muffled.
