I feel very humbled by the delightful memento of the hand made bell that has so generously been given to me by members of Loggerheads Community Information Shop (LCIS).

I thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of being involved with LCIS, which included The Shop on a Monday, the weekly email and website, the Community News letter, the Wednesday computing courses and the mobile LCIS - some call it a caravan !!

However I could never have achieved all these various aspects if it had not been for the fantastic support of all the dedicated volunteers helping with all the various "sections" mentioned above, which includes nearly eighty volunteers, who every other month deliver the paper version of Community News to nearly 2,000 homes in the area.

The LCIS has also been extremely well supported by all members of Loggerheads Parish Council, for which I personally have been most grateful.

Already in re:retirement, a new "member" has joined the Pemberton household. Bonnie, as you can see from the photo, has taken charge immediately. She is a two year old rescue dog, about which nothing is known. Bonnie  has been with us for only three weeks !! She is already getting Kath and myself out up and around The Burntwood woodland on a daily basis. This is a fantastic amenity to have on our doorstep.

Once again, many, many thanks - Eric
